Sturmideenkind, with twenty-three other photographers, worked on an amazing project in which each photographer interpreted one line of Mumford & Sons' Hopeless Wanderer. Please click here to view the whole, inspirational interpretation of the song as You Heard My Voice is just part of the first line in this magnificent effort. ( Featured by 3wyl )

Wonderful picture. So much emotion. I feel like she's stranded and every breath hurts.

Wonderful! Everything is perfect! How did you set it up though? Did you have a pool with a black bottom, or find a lake somewhere? It looks very clean!

Hey, I used a paddlingpool and black fabric to cover the bottom. It is actually a selfportrait, so I bound my camera in a tree and used a ??wireless releaser-(don't know the english word) It was so much fun and I am very happy that so many people like the result. :)

That's what I figured, but I had no idea it was self portrait! That's even more impressive! Kudos to you, and welcome to deviantArt! :D I hope you enjoy your stay. Perhaps some of us mortals will have a chance to learn from your work :) Do you have a website?

P.S. It's wireless release :) I have one myself, though it's infrared, and not nearly as effective as a radio one would be!

Probably a shallow pool ("box" with some black material over) since she's lying on her side. ; ) But it would be nice to know what she used though.

If you do click the link that brings you to all the photos, it is definitely a great idea to play the song while looking through them. The last two pictures and the one above are certainly my favourites.

Beautiful concept for this line of the song, and a stunning capture overall. I love the red you chose against both the dark of the water and the pale of her skin, and the positioning of the fabric next to her mouth perfectly actualizes your concept.

Well done, and congratulations on the well-deserved DD! :)

Woah, I first tought it was ice o3o And I was like: wow, they took a long time to set this up :iconderpinaplz:

Yeah, I'm dumb like this.

Anyways, this is totally amazing. My art school had an exhibition about Film Noir two weeks ago. Your work would have greatly fit in - probably would have been the star of the photo gallery tough ;)
